Fabrication Supervisor

Experience: 3-4+ Years

### About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Fabrication Supervisor to manage day-to-day fabrication operations and supervise a team of welders, fabricators, and fitters. The role is responsible for ensuring production targets, quality standards, workplace safety, and effective utilization of manpower and resources.

### Key Responsibilities

Team Supervision

* Assign daily tasks and monitor the performance of welders, fabricators, and fitters.

* Coordinate manpower and shift activities to meet production requirements.

Quality & Drawing Compliance

* Inspect work during and after fabrication to ensure compliance with engineering drawings and specifications.

* Interpret fabrication drawings, blueprints, welding symbols, and technical specifications.

Production Management

* Monitor daily production activities and ensure timely completion of assigned work.

* Efficiently utilize machinery, tools, materials, and manpower.

* Minimize material wastage, rework, and production delays.

Safety & 5S

* Ensure compliance with workplace safety procedures and proper handling of welding and cutting equipment.





* Maintain 5S and good housekeeping practices on the shop floor.

Troubleshooting

* Resolve fabrication, fitting, equipment, and material-related issues on the shop floor.

* Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure smooth production operations.

### Required Skills & Qualifications

* 3-4+ years of hands-on experience in manufacturing, welding, or metal fabrication.

* Previous experience in a supervisory or team-lead role.

* Strong ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.

* Knowledge of MIG, TIG, and Arc welding processes.

* Understanding of fabrication and shop-floor operations.

* Knowledge of workplace safety practices and quality standards.

* Good team management and problem-solving skills.

* ITI / Diploma / Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
