JOB DESCRIPTION - SITE ENGINEER

Position: Site Engineer

Department: Projects / Construction

Location: Bangalore

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and monitor day-to-day construction activities at the project site.

Execute work as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.

Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and site teams.

Check the quality of materials and workmanship at site.

Monitor manpower, materials, and equipment required for daily activities.

Ensure proper measurements and maintain site records.

Coordinate with the QS team for measurements, quantities, and billing.

Identify site issues and coordinate for timely resolution.

Monitor work progress and report daily/weekly status to the Project Manager.

Ensure compliance with safety procedures and site requirements.

Review drawings and coordinate with the design team for any clarifications.

Maintain daily progress reports, material records, and other project documentation.

Ensure work is completed within the planned schedule and quality standards.

Required Skills





Good knowledge of construction methods and site execution.

Ability to read and understand structural and architectural drawings.

Knowledge of measurements, BOQ, and quantity estimation.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Problem-solving and team-management abilities.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Excel is preferred.

Knowledge of QA/QC and construction safety practices will be an advantage.

Preferred Candidate

A technically strong and responsible Civil Engineer with positive site execution, coordination, and construction management skills, capable of handling site activities and delivering work as per quality and schedule requirements.
