About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Commercial Loan Closing Associate to support the successful closing and funding of commercial lending transactions. In this role, you will help ensure documentation, processes, and controls are completed accurately while partnering with internal teams and clients to deliver a seamless lending experience. This is an excellent prospect to build expertise in commercial lending operations, risk management, and transaction execution while contributing to business growth and operational excellence.

In this role, you will:
• Assist with pre-close and post-close activities for commercial, commercial real estate and problem loans
• Coordinate loan closings with customers
• Perform customer, loan and regulatory diligence and on-going portfolio maintenance
• Evaluate and upload data into the systems of record
• Receive direction from manager and exercise independent judgment
• Ensure compliance with all bank policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
• Manage an assigned portfolio of loans
• Collaborate and consult with peers,



colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
• Interact with internal customers
• Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements

Required Qualifications:
• 6+ months of Commercial Loan Closing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
• Experience in commercial lending, loan operations, banking operations, or a related financial services workplace.
• Experience reviewing loan documentation and supporting the loan closing process with a robust focus on accuracy and risk controls.
• Working knowledge of Loan IQ (LIQ) and/or syndicated loan operations.
