Role Summary We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to build and scale our API management platform . You will be hands-on in a contemporary, cloud-native Azure setting, primarily developing microservices in Kotlin and managing their deployment lifecycles via Helm on Kubernetes. You will also directly interact with our infrastructure, writing Terraform and configuring API gateway policies to ensure secure, high-performance service delivery.

Responsibilities

· Backend Development: Design, build, and maintain high-performance microservices using Kotlin (JVM ecosystem, utilizing Spring Boot or Quarkus).
· API Management: Implement and configure Azure API Management (APIM) policies using XML/C#, ensuring secure routing, request validation, and productive gateway performance.
· Cloud Deployments: Containerize applications and deploy them to Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) using Helm charts.
· Infrastructure as Code: Maintain and extend infrastructure components within our Terraform repositories, provisioning resources like Azure Redis, Key Vault, and networking components.

· CI/CD & Operations: Manage dual deployment pipelines using GitHub Actions and Azure Pipelines. Write Python scripts and runbooks to automate routine operational tasks.
