Job Description:
Manipal Hospitals is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nurse to join our healthcare team. The Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients, and assisting doctors and other healthcare professionals in various medical procedures. The Nurse will evaluate patient needs, administer medication, and monitor patient progress, maintaining accurate records and documentation of patient care and treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs and outcomes.
Administer medications and injections as per the physician's orders and ensure patient safety.
Monitor and document patient vital signs, changes in condition, and responses to treatment.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and treatment options.
Assist medical staff during diagnostic procedures and treatments.
Maintain a clean and secure setting for patients and staff, adhering to infection control protocols.
Skills and Tools Required:
Bachelor?s degree in Nursing (BSN) or an Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited institution.
Valid nursing license and registration.
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a rapid-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and medical software.
Knowledge of basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) protocols.
Empathy and the ability to provide emotional support to patients and their families.
