Job Summary

The Placement Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and managing placement activities for students, building relationships with recruiters, facilitating campus recruitment drives, and ensuring effective communication between students, recruiters, faculty members, and the Training & Placement Department. The role will contribute to improving student employability and achieving placement targets.

Key Responsibilities
Coordinate end-to-end campus placement activities for assigned departments/programmes.
Establish and maintain relationships with companies, recruiters, HR professionals, and industry partners.
Identify and invite potential recruiters for campus placement and internship opportunities.
Coordinate pre-placement talks, recruitment drives, interviews, assessments, and selection processes.
Communicate placement opportunities, eligibility criteria, job descriptions, and recruitment schedules to students.
Maintain accurate records of student registrations, applications, interview participation, selections, and placement status.
Coordinate with academic departments and faculty members regarding student placement activities.
Assist students in registration, resume preparation, interview scheduling, and recruitment-related processes.




Support students in preparing for aptitude tests, group discussions, personal interviews, and other selection processes.
Track and follow up with recruiters regarding interview results, offer letters, joining status, and other placement-related requirements.
Maintain and regularly update databases of recruiters, students, placement statistics, and industry contacts.
Prepare placement reports, MIS, dashboards, and management presentations as required.
Coordinate internship prospects and support students in securing relevant industry exposure.
Organize career development activities such as employability workshops, mock interviews, career counselling sessions, and industry interaction programmes.
Ensure smooth execution of on-campus and virtual recruitment drives.
Address student and recruiter queries related to placement processes and resolve issues promptly.
Ensure compliance with university placement policies, processes, and timelines.
Support placement-related events such as job fairs, career fairs, industry conclaves, and recruitment drives.
Perform any other placement and career development responsibilities assigned by management.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
