Product Development Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled Product Development Manager who represents Agile Leadership principles and practices. This role requires a solid technical background combined with exceptional leadership skills. The role is expected to lead team members and managers; drive product development excellence, and enable teams to adopt up-to-date engineering practices, including AI-enabled ways of working.
Experience level: 15+ Years
Key Responsibilities
• Lead, mentor, and develop cross-functional engineering teams in delivering high-quality software products
• Lead and coach scrum masters, team leads, ensuring effective leadership practices, accountability, and consistent execution across teams
• Drive technical decision-making and architecture design for complex systems
• Collaborate with product owners to translate business requirements into technical specifications
• Implement and optimize development processes to improve efficiency and product quality
• Drive adoption of AI-assisted software development practices,
including responsible use of AI tools for coding, testing, documentation, analysis, and productivity improvement
• Ensure AI usage follows company policies, security, compliance, data privacy, and ethical guidelines
• Manage the entire product lifecycle, from conception to deployment and maintenance
• Attract, recruit, induct, and retain capable technical personnel and managers
• Evaluate performance, provide guidance and corrective actions
• Participate in defining and administering compensation, perks, and promotions
• Perform career coaching and personal development for team members, managers, and future leaders
• Set priorities across teams to ensure task completion, alignment, and project success
• Support teams and managers in problem identification, root cause analysis, and decision-making
• Eliminate technical and organizational impediments to team productivity
