Electrician – Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Electrician with 5–6 years of experience in construction and real estate projects. The candidate will be responsible for electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring safe and efficient operation of electrical systems at the project site.

Key Responsibilities
Carry out electrical installation, wiring, and maintenance work at the project site.
Handle electrical systems for high-rise residential buildings.
Install and maintain cables, conduits, DBs, switches, sockets, lighting, and other electrical components.
Read and understand electrical drawings, layouts, and schematics.
Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and rectification of electrical faults.
Ensure proper installation of electrical equipment as per specifications and safety standards.
Coordinate with Site Engineers, Supervisors, and other departments for electrical works.
Monitor electrical materials and ensure proper utilization at site.




Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems.
Follow electrical safety procedures, PPE requirements, and site safety guidelines.
Maintain records of electrical work, inspections, and maintenance activities.
Ensure all electrical works comply with applicable standards and project requirements.

Requirements
ITI / Diploma in Electrical or equivalent qualification.
5–6 years of relevant experience in construction / real estate projects.
Experience in high-rise apartment projects will be preferred.
Good knowledge of electrical wiring, installation, testing, and troubleshooting.
Ability to read electrical drawings and layouts.
Solid knowledge of electrical safety practices.
Valuable communication and coordination skills.
