Key Responsibilities
Handle purchase of raw materials, consumables, tools, spares and services as per requirements.
Identify, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers/vendors for price, quality and delivery.
Obtain quotations, compare offers and prepare Purchase Orders (POs).
Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve supply issues.
Monitor purchase costs, stock levels and pending orders.
Coordinate with Stores, Production, Quality, Finance and other departments for purchase requirements.
Develop and maintain a reliable vendor database and support vendor evaluation.
Ensure required materials are purchased as per approved specifications and quality standards.
Maintain purchase records, quotations, POs and other procurement documents.
Support cost reduction, alternate sourcing and continuous improvement in procurement.
Required Skills
Good knowledge of purchase and vendor management.
Robust negotiation and communication skills.
Valuable knowledge of MS Excel and ERP systems.
Ability to analyse quotations and commercial terms.
Valuable follow-up, coordination and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Qualification & Experience
Qualification: Graduate / Diploma in any relevant field; Supply Chain / Procurement preferred.
Experience: 4–7 years in purchase/procurement, preferably in a manufacturing industry.
Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
