Job Responsibilities
Edit and proofread news stories, reports and other editorial content.
Ensure accuracy, clarity, grammar and adherence to editorial standards.
Handle news selection, prioritisation and editing under tight deadlines.
Coordinate with reporters and other newsroom teams.
Prepare and edit content for print publication.
Handle pagemaking/pagination and newspaper production workflows.
Ensure timely completion of pages and editions.
Maintain robust news judgement and editorial quality.

Candidate Requirements
Relevant experience in print newspaper journalism.
Experience in news editing and newsroom operations.
Robust command of English language, grammar and copy-editing.
Positive understanding of news values and editorial judgement.
Ability to work quickly and accurately under deadline pressure.
Hands-on experience in pagemaking/pagination is highly preferred.
Practical experience in newspaper production will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
