Job Summary
We are looking for a qualified and responsible Hospital Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The candidate will be responsible for accurate dispensing of medicines, maintaining pharmacy inventory, ensuring proper storage of medications, and maintaining pharmacy records in compliance with hospital policies and applicable regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Dispense medicines accurately as per valid prescriptions and hospital protocols.
Verify prescriptions for dosage, medication, frequency, and potential drug interactions.
Maintain adequate stock of medicines, consumables, and pharmacy supplies.
Monitor stock levels and raise purchase requirements when necessary.
Check batch numbers, expiry dates, and storage conditions of medicines.
Maintain proper records of medicines received, dispensed, returned, and expired.
Maintain records of controlled, narcotic, and high-alert medications as applicable.
Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other hospital departments regarding medication requirements.
Provide appropriate medication-related information and basic counselling to patients when required.
Ensure proper handling and storage of temperature-sensitive medicines.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and hygiene standards within the pharmacy.
Support pharmacy audits, quality initiatives, and hospital accreditation requirements.
Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations, hospital policies, and patient-safety standards.
Perform other pharmacy-related duties assigned by the Pharmacy Manager or Hospital Management.
Eligibility & Qualifications
B.Pharm from a recognized institution.
Valid State Pharmacy Council Registration is mandatory.
Registered Pharmacist with a valid license to practice.
Minimum 1–3 years of experience in a hospital pharmacy preferred.
Pay: ₹19,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
