Job Description – Service Advisor (Automobile Industry)

Position: Service Advisor

Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers and understand their vehicle concerns, service requirements, and expectations.
Create accurate job cards, record customer complaints, and communicate them clearly to the workshop team.
Provide service recommendations and explain required repairs, costs, and timelines to customers.
Coordinate with technicians and monitor the progress of vehicles in the workshop.
Ensure timely delivery of vehicles with proper explanation of work done and billing details.
Handle customer queries, complaints, and escalate issues when necessary.
Promote value-added services, offers, and periodic maintenance schedules.
Maintain high customer satisfaction and ensure repeat business.




Conduct post-service follow-up calls to ensure customer feedback and resolution.
Maintain service records, job card documentation, and reports as per company standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
Diploma/ITI/Graduation in Automobile/Mechanical field preferred.
1–3 years of experience as a Service Advisor in the automobile industry .
Strong communication and customer-handling skills.
Basic technical knowledge of vehicles (petrol/diesel/hybrid).
Ability to multitask and work in a rapid-paced workshop workplace.
Good computer skills (DMS/CRM knowledge preferred).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
