Key Responsibilities
Design HVAC systems including air conditioning, ventilation, exhaust, pressurization, and smoke management systems.
Perform HVAC load calculations using industry-standard software.
Prepare equipment selection and sizing for chillers, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, cooling towers, fans, ductwork, and piping systems.
Develop HVAC layouts, duct routing, piping layouts, and equipment room plans.
Prepare detailed design drawings using AutoCAD and Revit MEP/BIM.
Generate HVAC schematics, duct sizing, pipe sizing, and pressure drop calculations.
Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ), technical specifications, and tender documents.
Coordinate HVAC designs with electrical, plumbing, fire protection, structural, and architectural disciplines.
Ensure designs comply with ASHRAE, SMACNA, NBC, IS Codes, local authority regulations, and project specifications.
Review vendor submittals, technical data sheets, and shop drawings.
Participate in design review meetings and provide engineering support during project execution.
Assist site teams in resolving design-related technical issues.
Optimize HVAC designs for energy efficiency, maintainability, and cost-effectiveness.

Required Qualifications




Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
2–8 years of experience in HVAC design for MEP projects.
Experience in commercial buildings, hospitals, hotels, residential towers, industrial facilities, or data centers is preferred.
