Job Description

Berkeley Hyundai is looking for a skilled and hardworking Automobile Technician to join our Service Department. The candidate will be responsible for vehicle inspection, diagnosis, servicing, repairs, and maintenance while ensuring work is completed according to Hyundai quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
Inspect vehicles and identify mechanical and electrical issues.
Perform scheduled servicing and preventive maintenance.
Diagnose and repair vehicle faults using appropriate tools and equipment.
Carry out engine, transmission, brake, suspension, steering, and other mechanical repairs.
Perform basic electrical and diagnostic work.
Use diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle faults.
Follow manufacturer-recommended repair procedures and technical guidelines.
Ensure all repairs are completed accurately and within the required time.
Conduct quality checks after completing repairs.
Maintain proper tools, equipment, and workplace cleanliness.
Follow workshop safety procedures and company policies.
Coordinate with Service Advisors regarding vehicle repair requirements.




Maintain accurate job card and repair-related information.

Requirements
ITI / Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
1–5 years of experience as an Automobile Technician.
Experience in an authorized automobile dealership/workshop will be an advantage.
Good knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems.
Familiarity with diagnostic tools and workshop equipment.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair vehicle problems.
Positive teamwork and time-management skills.
