Job Description

Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using RPG IV, RPGLE, and Free-Format RPG. Develop and optimize DB2 for IBM i databases, SQL queries, stored procedures, and data-access routines. Maintain and enhance existing applications written in RPG, CL, and related IBM i technologies. Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective technical designs and solutions. Develop batch programs, reports, interfaces, APIs, and system integrations. Troubleshoot application errors, performance issues, and production incidents. Perform unit testing, debugging, code reviews, and application support. Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand requirements and provide appropriate solutions. Ensure application quality, performance, maintainability,



and adherence to coding standards. Provide technical support for existing IBM i applications and participate in enhancement and modernization initiatives.
