Job Responsibilities
Operate and monitor VMC (Vertical Machining Center) machines as per production requirements.
Set up machines, tools, fixtures, and workpieces according to drawings and job specifications.
Read and understand engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and machining instructions.
Load and execute CNC programs and make necessary offset and parameter adjustments.
Perform tool setting, tool changes, workpiece loading/unloading, and machine alignment.
Check finished components using Vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge, and other measuring instruments.
Ensure components are manufactured within specified dimensions and tolerances.
Monitor machining processes and identify tool wear, machine issues, and quality problems.
Maintain proper production records, inspection reports, and machine-related documentation.
Follow safety procedures, housekeeping standards, and preventive maintenance requirements.
Coordinate with the Production,



Quality, and Maintenance teams to achieve production targets.
Minimize material wastage, machine downtime, and rejection rates.

Required Skills
Experience operating VMC/CNC machining machines.
Knowledge of G-code, M-code, tool offsets, work offsets, and CNC controls.
Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T;.
Knowledge of cutting tools, machining parameters, and basic troubleshooting.
Experience with measuring and inspection instruments.
Valuable understanding of production and quality requirements.
Ability to work in shifts and meet production targets.
Positive attention to detail and safety awareness.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Experience:
VMC Machine : 3 years (Preferred)
