Prepare 2D drawings and 3D models of machine components, assemblies and sub-assemblies.
Develop mechanical designs based on customer requirements and machine specifications.
Prepare General Arrangement (GA), fabrication, machining and assembly drawings.
Perform basic design calculations, including shaft, bearing, gear, pulley, belt, chain, key and fastener selection.
Select suitable materials, standard components and bought-out items for machine design.
Prepare and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) and technical specifications.
Review designs for manufacturability, assembly, maintenance and cost effectiveness.
Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Quality, Assembly and Maintenance departments for design-related issues.
Modify existing machine designs based on production feedback, customer requirements and field problems.
Support prototype development, testing, commissioning and troubleshooting of machinery.
Ensure drawings are prepared according to applicable engineering standards and company drawing practices.
Maintain proper revision control and documentation of drawings and design changes.




Assist in root-cause analysis and design improvement for machine failures and performance issues.
Work with vendors for technical clarification and development of customized components.
Provide technical support during machine installation and commissioning when required.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month

Diploma (Preferred)

Experience:
Shafts, bearings, gears, belts, chains, couplings, fasteners: 1 year (Required)
Knowledge of GD&T;, fits, tolerances and surface finish: 1 year (Required)
AutoCAD software such as SolidWorks / Creo / Inventor: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:
Diploma/B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering (Preferred)
