CADLETE Designs is looking for a Mechanical / Product Design Intern to work on real-world product development projects. The role provides hands-on exposure to mechanical design, 3D CAD, product development, prototyping, and manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities
Create and modify 3D CAD models and mechanical designs.
Develop 2D engineering drawings and documentation.
Work on product components, assemblies, and mechanisms.
Assist with product design and concept development.
Support prototyping and testing.
Make design modifications based on testing and engineering feedback.
Assist with DFM and manufacturing considerations.
Work with materials, fasteners, hardware, and mechanical components.
Collaborate with senior designers and engineers on ongoing projects.

Required Skills
Working knowledge of SolidWorks or Fusion 360 is mandatory.
Basic understanding of mechanical design principles.
Understanding of engineering drawings, dimensions, and tolerances.
Basic knowledge of mechanical components and assemblies.
Basic understanding of manufacturing processes.
Positive problem-solving and design skills.
Willingness to learn and work on real-world products.

Positive to Have




Knowledge of DFM and manufacturing processes.
Familiarity with CNC machining, injection molding, sheet metal, or 3D printing.
Experience with prototyping or personal product design projects.
Knowledge of KeyShot or other rendering software.

Eligibility
Pursuing a Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
Freshers are welcome to apply.
Candidates with academic, personal, or portfolio projects are preferred.
