Fashion Designer – Handwork & Fabric

Job Summary:

We are looking for a creative and confident Fashion Designer with strong knowledge of fabrics, handwork and garment-making techniques. The candidate should be able to understand customer requirements, suggest suitable fabrics/designs and creatively convert ideas into attractive designs.

Key Responsibilities:
Create and develop recent fashion designs, patterns and styling concepts based on customer requirements.
Solid knowledge of different fabrics, textures, colours, prints and their suitability for different designs.
Knowledge of handwork, embroidery and garment-making machinery/techniques.
Understand customer requirements and confidently present, explain and convince customers about fabric and design choices.
Suggest creative ways to modify or customize fabrics according to the customer's style and requirements.
Prepare design concepts,



sketches and samples and coordinate for execution.
Use relevant fashion designing software/tools such as CorelDRAW, Photoshop, Illustrator or other design software.
Use AI/design tools to develop creative ideas, references and fashion concepts.
Stay updated with latest fashion trends, colours, fabrics and styling techniques.
Coordinate with tailors/artisans for proper execution of designs.

Required Skills:
Fashion Designing course/diploma/degree is mandatory.
Valuable knowledge of fabric, handwork, embroidery and garment construction.
Creative, confident and presentable personality.
Excellent Hindi & English communication.
Strong customer handling and presentation skills.
Ability to understand customer needs and convert them into attractive designs.
