Mould Fabrication & Assembly:
Build, spot, fit, and assemble core/cavity inserts and mould bases according to 2D/3D engineering drawings, specifications, and prototypes.
Execute engineering modifications, mould revisions, and core/cavity adjustments to meet strict product standards.
Machining & Vendor Coordination:
Set up and operate conventional tool room machines (Milling, Lathe, Surface Grinding).
Prepare in-house mould parts for EDM processing.
Coordinate with outside vendors for CNC/VMC machining, heat treatment, and specialized processes.
Mould Maintenance & Quality Control:
Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, polishing, and repair of finished moulds to eliminate flashing, venting, or cooling issues.
Inspect finished mould components and moulded samples using precision measuring instruments (callipers, micrometres, dial indicators) to ensure strict tolerances.
