Job Title: ICU Nurse

Department: Critical Care / Intensive Care Unit
Job summary

The ICU Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality care to critically ill patients in the

Intensive Care Unit. This role requires advanced clinical skills, critical thinking, and the

ability to respond swiftly and effectively to rapidly changing patient conditions.
Key Responsibilities

Monitor and assess patients’ vital signs, symptoms, and overall health status.

Administer medications, intravenous fluids, and treatments in accordance with

physician orders.

Operate and monitor critical care equipment such as ventilators, infusion pumps,

and cardiac monitors.

Respond promptly to emergency situations using resuscitation and life-support

techniques.

Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare





specialists to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families.

Document all nursing care provided, patient responses, and medical updates

accurately in electronic health records (EHR).

Maintain strict infection control standards and ensure a sterile, protected ICU

workplace.

Participate in ICU rounds and handovers to ensure continuity of care.

Stay current with ICU protocols, best practices, and evidence-based guidelines.

Ability to lift, move, or assist patients

Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and manual dexterity

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
