Role Overview

Star Ashiyana is seeking a highly capable and intellectual Purchase Manager with strong expertise in material procurement, vendor management, and commercial negotiations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring cost-effective purchasing while maintaining high quality standards and timely availability of materials for projects.

Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end procurement activities for construction/site materials
Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors and suppliers
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts to achieve cost efficiency
Ensure procurement of quality materials in line with project requirements
Maintain optimal inventory levels and avoid stock shortages or excess
Coordinate closely with site, project, and accounts teams
Prepare and process purchase orders, invoices, and related documentation
Track deliveries and ensure timely availability of materials at site




Conduct market research to explore new vendors and cost-saving opportunities
Monitor vendor performance and maintain long-term relationships

Required Skills & Competencies
Solid knowledge of construction materials (cement, steel, fittings, etc.)
Excellent negotiation and cost optimization skills
Robust vendor management and relationship-building abilities
Positive analytical thinking and decision-making capability
Proficiency in MS Excel and procurement systems
Strong communication and coordination skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Preferred Candidate Profile
Graduate in any discipline (relevant certification is an added advantage)
4–5 years of experience in procurement/purchase (construction/real estate preferred)
Smart, proactive, and detail-oriented individual
High level of integrity and accountability

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
