Location: Pune Experience: 3–8 Years Industry: Automotive Employment Type: Third-Party Payroll Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Chassis Design Engineer with solid expertise in Suspension and Brake Systems and hands-on experience in CATIA V5. The candidate will be responsible for 3D modelling, 2D detailing, packaging, design development and engineering release activities for automotive chassis components. Key Responsibilities Design and development of Chassis, Suspension and Brake System components using CATIA V5. Perform 3D modelling, 2D drawings, assembly and detailing. Work on suspension components such as control arms, springs, dampers, stabilizer/ARB, subframes and related assemblies. Work on brake system components, brake assemblies and related chassis parts. Perform DMU, packaging and vehicle integration activities. Prepare and manage BOM,



engineering drawings and design documentation. Apply GD&T; and ensure design compliance with engineering standards. Coordinate with vehicle integration, CAE, manufacturing, prototype and supplier teams. Support design reviews, prototype build and issue resolution. Manage engineering changes and design release activities through PLM/Teamcenter. Ensure quality, functionality, manufacturability and timely delivery of designs. Required Skills Strong hands-on experience in CATIA V5. Good knowledge of Chassis / Suspension / Brake Systems. Experience in 3D modelling, 2D drafting and assembly. Knowledge of GD&T;, DMU and packaging. Exposure to PLM / Teamcenter and BOM management. Understanding of automotive design and manufacturing processes. Good problem-solving and cross-functional coordination skills. Qualification BE / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical / Automobile / Production Engineering or equivalent.
