We're Hiring: Research & Development – Chemistry

Qualification: M.Sc. in Analytical Chemistry or Organic Chemistry

Experience: Preferably 2–5 years

We are looking for a hands-on Research & Development Proffesional to join our R&D; team working on environmental-monitoring and water-quality technologies.

The role will involve analytical method development, chemical experimentation, validation and new product development. The selected candidate will work with a multidisciplinary team to translate scientific research into reliable and scalable products for field applications.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct literature research for assigned development projects

• Design, plan and execute laboratory experiments

• Develop and optimise analytical methods, chemical formulations and testing processes

• Perform method validation, data analysis and interpretation

• Evaluate the performance, stability and reproducibility of developed methods

• Support the conversion of laboratory concepts into manufacturable products

• Prepare SOPs, experimental protocols, validation reports and technical documentation

• Maintain accurate laboratory records and support quality audits

• Operate, maintain and calibrate relevant laboratory instruments

• Collaborate with R&D;, electronics, product-development, production and QA/QC teams

• Coordinate with external research institutions and technical partners when required

• Support field trials,



product demonstrations and technical training

Candidate profile:

• M.Sc. in Analytical Chemistry or Organic Chemistry is mandatory

• Strong foundation in analytical chemistry, experimental design and data interpretation

• Hands-on laboratory experience with positive documentation practices

• Ability to independently plan experiments, troubleshoot problems and meet project timelines

• Experience in analytical instruments, sensors, method development, chemical formulations or scientific product development will be preferred

• Research exposure in environmental monitoring or water-quality applications will be an advantage

• Strong scientific writing, reporting and presentation skills

• Practical, curious and product-oriented approach to research

A PhD is not required. PhD holders or candidates completing relevant doctoral research may also apply if they are interested in a hands-on, industry-oriented R&D; role.
