QA / Functional Tester P&C; Insurance & Accounting

Availability: Immediate to 15 Days

Mandatory Skills:

- 5 8 years of Manual / Functional QA Testing experience.
- Robust knowledge of STLC, SDLC, Agile, test case design, execution, and defect lifecycle.
- Hands-on experience in Functional, Integration, System, Regression, and UAT testing.
- Strong P&C; Insurance domain knowledge covering policy lifecycle, quote & bind, new business, policy issuance, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, premium, billing/collections, claims, commissions, underwriting, and policy transactions.
- Good Accounting/Financial domain knowledge covering GL, AP, AR, journal entries, debit/credit, trial balance, reconciliation, financial transactions, accounting rules, month/period-end processes, revenue/expense accounting, and financial reporting.




- Experience validating end-to-end insurance and accounting workflows, including integrations between policy, billing, claims, and accounting/financial systems.
- Experience with JIRA, Azure Dev Ops, HP ALM, or similar defect-management tools.
- SQL/database validation experience.
- Ability to analyze requirements, create test scenarios/test data/scripts, identify defects, perform RCA, and work with developers/BAs/business stakeholders.
- Good stakeholder communication and analytical/problem-solving skills.

Preferred: Guidewire/Duck Creek/Majesco, API/Postman, ERP/Financial systems, or automation exposure.

Priority: Candidates with both P&C; Insurance + Accounting/Financial Services domain experience.
