Duck Creek QA Analyst
Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled QA Analyst with specialized expertise in the Duck Creek platform to join our IT Services team. In this critical role, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, performance, and reliability of our insurance technology solutions throughout the software development lifecycle. This position is pivotal in managing complex testing scenarios related to cloud and data migrations, state-specific regulatory rollouts, and billing systems. The ideal professional will possess deep knowledge of Duck Creek Policy and Billing modules, leveraging their experience to drive high-quality UAT processes and seamless integration testing for enterprise-level applications.
Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive testing strategies for Duck Creek Policy and Billing modules, ensuring alignment with business requirements and regulatory standards.
- Design and implement test cases for cloud migration initiatives, focusing on data integrity and system performance during transitions.
- Conduct rigorous data migration validation to ensure accuracy and consistency between legacy systems and current cloud environments.
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, collaborating with stakeholders to validate US State Rollouts and ensure compliance with regional mandates.
- Perform end-to-end integration testing to verify seamless connectivity between Duck Creek components and external third-party systems.
- Manage and execute regression testing suites to confirm that new updates or patches do not disrupt existing functionalities.
- Utilize API testing tools and Postman to validate service endpoints and ensure robust data exchange mechanisms.
- Maintain detailed test documentation and track defects using Jira, providing regular status reports to project management teams.
- Support the development and maintenance of automated test scripts to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Quality Assurance within the IT Services sector.
- Proven expertise in testing Duck Creek Policy and Duck Creek Billing platforms.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data validation and query execution.
- Hands-on experience with API testing and the use of Postman for service verification.
- Demonstrated background in Cloud Migration Testing and Data Migration validation.
- Solid understanding of Regression Testing methodologies and best practices.
- Experience managing UAT cycles and coordinating with business users for sign-off.
- Proficiency in using Jira for defect tracking and project management.
- Familiarity with Integration Testing in complex enterprise environments.
- Specific experience with US State Rollouts and navigating regional compliance requirements.
- Knowledge of Duck Creek QA/Testing frameworks and tools.
