Job Description – Engineer Testing & Commissioning

- Plan, lead, and execute testing and commissioning activities for electrical systems and projects.
- Conduct testing of HT/LT panels, transformers, switchgear, cables, motors, DG sets, UPS, batteries, and protection systems.
- Perform insulation resistance, continuity, earth resistance, high-voltage, relay, CT/PT, and functional testing as applicable.
- Review approved drawings, specifications, test procedures, method statements, and commissioning schedules.
- Ensure testing and commissioning activities comply with IEC, IS, IEEE, NFPA and project/client requirements.
- Coordinate with electrical design, construction, QA/QC, vendors, consultants, and client teams.
- Prepare and review test reports, commissioning procedures, checklists, inspection requests, and handover documentation.
- Identify and troubleshoot electrical system faults, protection issues, and equipment performance problems.
- Supervise testing teams, technicians, subcontractors, and specialist vendors during commissioning activities.
- Ensure safe energization, successful commissioning, performance testing, and final handover of electrical systems.

Qualification & Experience





- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- 1–10 years of relevant experience in Electrical Testing & Commissioning.
- Solid knowledge of HT/LT systems, transformers, switchgear, protection relays, cables, DG, UPS, and electrical testing procedures.
- Hands-on experience with testing equipment such as OMICRON, Megger, relay test kits, primary/secondary injection kits, and earth resistance testers.
- Strong knowledge of electrical safety, testing standards, troubleshooting, documentation, and commissioning practices.
- Good leadership, coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
