A Billing and Cashier skilled manages customer transactions, generates invoices, and processes payments (cash, card, digital) while providing excellent customer service. Key duties include operating POS systems, balancing cash drawers, processing returns, and resolving billing queries. They ensure accurate financial record-keeping in retail, hospitality, or service environments.

Key ResponsibilitiesTransaction Processing:

Managing cash registers/POS systems, scanning items, and processing cash, credit, or digital payments accurately.

Billing & Invoicing: Generating bills, receipts, and invoices, including handling GST compliance where necessary.

Cash Management: Counting daily cash, balancing cash drawers, and maintaining accurate financial records at the end of shifts.

Customer Service: Greeting customers, answering questions, resolving complaints, and processing returns, exchanges, or refunds.

Operational Support: Maintaining a clean checkout area, assisting with inventory,



and updating sales records in software like Tally.

Required Skills & QualificationsTechnical Skills:

Proficiency with POS systems, cash registers, and basic computer knowledge (e.g., Tally).

Mathematical Accuracy: Strong numerical skills for handling cash and calculating discounts or change.

Communication: Excellent verbal communication to handle customer inquiries professionally.

Attention to Detail: High accuracy in billing and cash balancing to prevent discrepancies.

Experience: Previous experience as a Billing cashier or in a retail/billing role is preferred.

Prefer to Supermarket Experience candidates.

Salary : 8 k to 20 k
