Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Tea & Beverage Specialist to join our upcoming tea and beverage outlet. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in tea brewing, beverage preparation and café/tea outlet operations.

The candidate should have good knowledge of different types of tea and be capable of preparing beverages with consistent taste, quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve different varieties of tea and specialty beverages.
- Expertise in brewing Green Tea, Black Tea, Herbal Tea, Masala Chai and other specialty teas.
- Develop and maintain standard recipes and brewing methods.
- Ensure consistency in taste, quality and presentation.
- Experiment with new tea blends and beverage recipes.
- Maintain hygiene, cleanliness and food safety standards.
- Handle and maintain tea brewing and beverage preparation equipment.
- Monitor availability and quality of tea, ingredients and other beverage materials.
- Train outlet staff in proper brewing and beverage preparation techniques.
- Maintain standard operating procedures for tea and beverage preparation.
- Ensure excellent customer service and overall beverage experience.




- Support the management in developing new tea-based products and menu items.

Candidate Requirements

- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Previous experience in a tea café, coffee shop, café, QSR, hotel, restaurant or beverage outlet.
- Strong knowledge of tea varieties, brewing techniques and beverage preparation.
- Hands-on experience with specialty tea and hot/cold beverages.
- Good understanding of taste, flavour combinations and presentation.
- Ability to develop new recipes and beverage combinations.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Knowledge of hygiene and food safety practices.
- Candidates with experience in setting up or managing a tea/beverage section will be preferred.
