HR Requirement / Recruitment Responsibilities in a Pharmaceutical Company

An HR Recruitment Executive/Manager in a pharmaceutical company is generally responsible for:

Manpower Planning

Identify manpower requirements department-wise.

Coordinate with Production, QA, QC, R&D;, Engineering, Warehouse, Regulatory, etc.

Prepare manpower requisition and hiring plans.

Recruitment & Selection

Source candidates through job portals, consultants, references and recruitment agencies.

Screen CVs according to pharmaceutical job requirements.

Conduct initial HR interviews and coordinate technical interviews.

Shortlist candidates and negotiate salary/CTC.

Pharma-Specific Hiring

Recruit candidates with relevant qualifications such as B.Pharm, M.Pharm, B.Sc, M.Sc, Diploma, ITI, MBA, etc.

Verify experience in GMP, WHO-GMP, USFDA, EU-GMP, OSD, injectables, API, QA/QC, production and validation, as applicable.

Joining & Documentation

Issue offer/appointment letters through authorized company processes.

Complete joining formalities and employee documentation.

Verify educational,



experience and background documents.

Compliance & HR Records

Maintain employee files and HR databases.

Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, PF, ESIC, gratuity, attendance and wage requirements.

Maintain records required for audits and inspections.

Employee Coordination

Handle employee grievances and disciplinary matters.

Coordinate induction and training.

Monitor attendance, leave and employee engagement.

Recruitment Reporting

Prepare daily/weekly recruitment reports.

Track vacancies, interviews, selections, offers and joining status.

Coordinate with management regarding critical manpower requirements.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
