Role: GCP DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced GCP DevOps Engineer with 6+ years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps automation, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) along with Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm, Argo CD, Istio, monitoring, automation, and containerization.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and manage scalable and highly available cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated application build, deployment, and release processes.
- Manage and optimize Kubernetes environments and Kubernetes Operators.
- Implement and manage Istio Service Mesh for service-to-service communication, traffic management, security, and observability.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure using Terraform Cloud and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices.
- Create and manage Helm Charts for Kubernetes application deployments.
- Implement GitOps-based deployment practices using Argo CD.
- Configure and maintain monitoring and alerting using Prometheus and Alertmanager.
- Work with Google Cloud Functions, Cloud SQL, and Cloud Spanner.
- Automate infrastructure and application configuration using Ansible.
- Build, manage, and optimize containerized applications using Docker.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
- Work with PostgreSQL databases and support database-related DevOps activities.
- Implement SRE practices, including monitoring,



alerting, reliability, incident management, and performance optimization.
- Troubleshoot production issues and ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of cloud applications.
- Collaborate with development, QA, security, and infrastructure teams to improve deployment and operational processes.

Required Technical Skills

- 6+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, SRE, or related roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
