Role Summary

We are seeking a Databricks/Python Developer with strong expertise in Databricks, Python, Power BI, and cloud-based data engineering solutions. The candidate will design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines, analytics platforms, and business intelligence solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop data pipelines using Databricks and Python. • Build ETL/ELT solutions for structured and unstructured data. • Develop interactive Power BI dashboards and reports. • Optimize data processing performance and cost. • Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and analytics teams. • Implement data quality, governance, and security controls. • Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and production support.

Mandatory Skills

• Databricks (Workspace, Jobs, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog). • Strong Python programming and scripting. • Power BI report and dashboard development. • SQL and data modeling. • ETL/ELT design and implementation. • Git, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Azure Data Factory, Synapse, ADLS. • Spark / PySpark development. • Data warehousing concepts. • Experience with monitoring and automation.

Detailed Competencies

Technical Expertise • Develop scalable PySpark applications and notebooks. • Create reusable frameworks and automation utilities. • Manage large-scale data ingestion and transformation workloads. • Implement performance tuning and workload optimization.

Power BI Responsibilities • Design executive dashboards and KPI scorecards. • Build semantic models and DAX calculations. • Create self-service analytics capabilities for business users.
