2D Interior Designer – Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented 2D Interior Designer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate 2D drawings, working drawings, furniture layouts, ceiling plans, electrical layouts, and other technical drawings required for residential and commercial interior projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed 2D floor plans and interior layouts.
- Create furniture layouts, partition layouts, ceiling plans, flooring layouts, and elevation drawings.
- Prepare electrical, lighting, plumbing, and other service drawings as required.
- Develop detailed working drawings for site execution.
- Coordinate drawings with interior designers, 3D designers, site engineers, and project coordinators.
- Make revisions based on client and project requirements.
- Ensure drawings are accurate according to site measurements and project dimensions.
- Prepare detailed drawings for carpentry, modular kitchens, wardrobes, false ceilings, and other interior elements.
- Coordinate with the site team to resolve drawing-related issues during execution.
- Maintain proper documentation and organized drawing files.
- Ensure drawings are completed within project timelines.





Required Skills

- Solid knowledge of AutoCAD / 2D drafting.
- Good understanding of interior design and construction drawings.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural plans.
- Knowledge of furniture dimensions, materials, and interior detailing.
- Valuable knowledge of measurements and technical detailing.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple projects.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Qualification & Experience

- Diploma / Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- 2years Experience in interior design or architectural drafting is preferred.
- Freshers with good AutoCAD and interior drafting skills may also apply.

Preferred

- Experience in residential and commercial interior projects.
- Knowledge of SketchUp, 3D software, or Photoshop will be an added advantage.
- Previous experience preparing site execution/working drawings will be preferred.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
