Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities, maintain accurate financial records, and support the finance team with reporting, reconciliations, compliance, and other accounting requirements.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts and financial records.
- Record and verify invoices, expenses, receipts, payments, and other accounting transactions.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Perform bank, ledger, vendor, and customer reconciliations.
- Prepare and maintain monthly financial reports and accounting schedules.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and follow up as required.
- Prepare invoices, payment requests, expense reports, and other financial documentation.
- Ensure proper accounting documentation and filing of financial records.
- Support statutory, tax, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Assist with audits by providing required schedules, documents, and explanations.
- Identify discrepancies or accounting errors and take corrective action.
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, customers, auditors, and other stakeholders as required.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial and business information.




- Perform other accounting and finance-related duties assigned by management.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- [1–3] years of relevant accounting experience; freshers may be considered based on the role.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of applicable tax and statutory compliance requirements.
- Robust numerical and analytical skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle confidential financial information responsibly.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with ERP/accounting systems.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, and other applicable statutory requirements.
- Experience with reconciliations and month-end closing.
- Strong Excel skills, including formulas, PivotTables, and data analysis.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under deadlines.
