Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Structural Draftsman to prepare accurate structural drawings and detailing for construction projects. The candidate will work closely with structural engineers, architects, and site teams to develop construction-ready drawings and ensure that drawings comply with project specifications and applicable standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed structural drawings for RCC, steel, and other structural works.
- Develop plans, elevations, sections, structural details, and reinforcement drawings.
- Prepare GFC (Good for Construction) drawings based on structural design and engineering inputs.
- Prepare reinforcement detailing, bar bending details, beam, column, slab, footing, staircase, and foundation drawings.
- Prepare structural steel fabrication and erection drawings, where applicable.
- Coordinate structural drawings with architectural, MEP, and other discipline drawings.
- Review drawings for dimensions, levels, quantities, and constructability before issue.
- Incorporate revisions and comments from structural engineers, consultants, and site teams.
- Assist in preparing shop drawings, as-built drawings,



and quantity/detailing-related drawings.
- Maintain proper drawing numbering, revision control, and document records.
- Coordinate with site engineers to resolve drawing-related technical and construction issues.
- Ensure drawings are prepared according to project standards, specifications, and relevant codes.
- Support the engineering team during design changes and construction-stage requirements.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and structural drafting.
- Valuable understanding of RCC structural detailing and reinforcement drawings.
- Knowledge of structural steel detailing will be an added advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret structural design drawings and engineering calculations.
- Understanding of construction methods and structural components.
- Good knowledge of dimensions, levels, sections, detailing, and drawing standards.
- Familiarity with Revit Structure / Tekla Structures is an advantage.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with engineers, architects, consultants, and site personnel.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.

Educational Qualification

- Diploma / ITI / Degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in structural drafting may be considered in place of formal qualifications.

Preferred Experience

1-2 year of experience in Structural Draftsman
