About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Web Developer to manage, maintain and improve our WordPress/WooCommerce e-commerce website on a contract basis.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with WordPress, WooCommerce, website optimization and basic SEO, and should be able to independently implement website changes and troubleshoot issues.

Key Responsibilities

- Website Development & Maintenance
- Maintain and update the WordPress/WooCommerce website.
- Implement website changes, new features and improvements as required.
- Manage product, category and other website pages.
- Troubleshoot website, plugin and WooCommerce-related issues.
- WooCommerce & E-commerce
- Manage and optimize WooCommerce functionality.
- Troubleshoot cart, checkout, payment and product-related issues.
- Improve the overall customer experience and website functionality.
- Assist with integrations and e-commerce tools when required.
- Website Performance & Optimization
- Identify and resolve website speed and performance issues.
- Ensure the website works properly across desktop and mobile devices.
- Identify broken links, errors and other technical issues.
- Assist with website security, backups and general maintenance.
- SEO & Technical Support
- Implement basic technical SEO and on-page SEO requirements.
- Work with the marketing team to implement SEO recommendations.
- Assist with website structure, URLs, redirects, internal linking and other technical SEO requirements.




- Monitor and resolve relevant issues identified through Google Search Console.
- Technical Advisory
- Advise management on website improvements, plugins, integrations and e-commerce functionality.
- Recommend practical solutions for improving website performance and user experience.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to implement required website changes.

Required Skills

- Minimum 1 year of practical WordPress experience.
- Good hands-on experience with WooCommerce.
- Valuable knowledge of website maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Basic understanding of SEO and website optimization.
- Knowledge of HTML and CSS.
- Ability to work independently and implement changes as required.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.

WordPress | WooCommerce | HTML | CSS | PHP | JavaScript | Technical SEO | Google Search Console | Website Speed Optimization | Payment Gateways | WordPress Plugins | E-commerce Websites

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who can independently manage, troubleshoot and improve a WooCommerce website, rather than someone who only has basic WordPress knowledge.

The developer should also be able to understand business requirements and suggest practical technical solutions.

This is a contract/part-time position at ₹10,000 per month and is suitable for someone who can provide reliable ongoing website support.
