Job Purpose
To manage and supervise all HR and employee-related activities, including manpower planning, recruitment, employee relations, payroll coordination, statutory compliance, performance management, training, and overall HR administration, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Manpower Planning
- Plan manpower requirements in coordination with departmental heads.
- Handle recruitment, screening, interviewing, selection, and onboarding.
- Prepare and issue appointment and joining-related documentation.
- Maintain updated employee records and manpower reports.
- Monitor manpower availability and absenteeism.
2. Employee Relations
- Handle employee grievances, disciplinary matters, and workplace issues.
- Maintain healthy employee-management relations.
- Address employee concerns and coordinate with management for resolution.
- Implement employee engagement and welfare initiatives.
3. Attendance & Payroll Coordination
- Supervise daily attendance, leave, shift, and overtime records.
- Coordinate monthly payroll processing with the Accounts/Finance Department.
- Verify salary-related inputs, deductions, incentives, overtime, and other payroll components.
- Maintain accurate employee attendance and payroll records.
4. Labour Law & Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour and employment laws.
- Handle statutory compliances relating to:
- EPF / PF
- ESIC
- Professional Tax
- Labour Welfare Fund
- Bonus
- Gratuity
- Minimum Wages
- Coordinate with Labour Department, Factory Inspector, ESIC, PF authorities, and other government departments.
- Handle labour inspections, notices, and statutory correspondence.
5. Industrial Relations
- Manage shop-floor employee relations and workforce-related issues.
- Handle disciplinary proceedings and employee misconduct cases.
- Monitor absenteeism, labour turnover, productivity, and manpower utilization.
- Coordinate with workers, supervisors, and management for smooth plant operations.
- Handle union-related matters, wherever applicable.
6. HR Policies & Documentation
- Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures.
- Prepare appointment letters, confirmation letters, transfer letters, warning letters, show-cause notices, and separation documents.
- Maintain employee personal files and HR documentation.
- Ensure proper documentation of employee lifecycle activities.
7. Performance Management
- Coordinate employee appraisal and performance evaluation processes.
- Assist in defining KRAs and KPIs.
- Monitor employee performance and coordinate performance improvement plans where required.
- Support management in manpower and performance-related decisions.
8. Training & Development
- Identify employee training and development requirements.
- Coordinate induction and orientation programs for current employees.
- Organize technical, behavioural, safety, and compliance-related training.
- Maintain training records and evaluate training effectiveness.
9. Employee Welfare & Engagement
- Manage employee welfare activities and facilities.
- Coordinate canteen, transportation, uniform, housekeeping, security, and other employee-related services, wherever applicable.
- Conduct employee engagement activities.
- Promote a safe, disciplined, and positive working environment.
10. HR Reporting & MIS
- Prepare periodic HR MIS reports for management.
- Monitor manpower cost, absenteeism, employee turnover, overtime, recruitment status, and other HR KPIs.
- Provide management with accurate HR data and analysis.
- Maintain HR records through HRMS/ERP systems.
11. Contractor & Labour Management
- Monitor contract labour deployment and documentation.
- Ensure contractors comply with applicable labour laws and statutory requirements.
- Verify contractor manpower records, attendance, wage compliance, PF/ESIC documentation, and other statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with contractors for manpower-related issues.
12. Administration
- Supervise general administration activities related to employees and plant operations.
- Coordinate security, housekeeping, transport, facilities, and other administrative services.
- Ensure proper workplace discipline and compliance with company policies.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of HR practices and labour laws.
- Good understanding of PF, ESIC, Bonus, Gratuity, Minimum Wages, and Factory/Labour compliance.
- Strong employee relations and communication skills.
- Good negotiation and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Recruitment and manpower planning skills.
- Payroll and attendance management knowledge.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, HRMS, and ERP systems.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with senior management.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Qualification
- MBA / PGDM in Human Resources preferred.
- Graduation in any relevant discipline.
Experience
5–10+ years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing, factory, or industrial environment or office .

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
