Special Educator – Autism & Child Development

We are looking for a passionate, compassionate and professionally committed Special Educator who wants to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide individualized Special Education interventions based on each child's developmental and educational needs.
- Work with children with Autism, developmental delays, learning difficulties and other developmental challenges.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and structured learning goals.
- Work on academic readiness, cognitive skills, attention, communication, social skills and functional independence.
- Use evidence-based teaching strategies and child-friendly learning techniques.
- Conduct structured one-on-one and small-group sessions.
- Monitor children's progress and maintain accurate session and progress records.
- Regularly assess developmental and educational progress and modify intervention strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with Psychologists, Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Behaviour Therapists and other professionals as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Guide parents regarding home-based learning activities and strategies.
- Maintain a safe, positive, respectful and engaging therapeutic setting.
- Participate in team meetings, case discussions,



training sessions and career development programs.

Qualifications

Preferred:

- B.Ed. Special Education / D.Ed. Special Education
- Valid RCI registration will be an advantage.
- Candidates with relevant experience in Autism, Special Education or Child Development will be preferred.
