Job Description - Accounts Auditor

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Auditor who can independently handle accounting audits, statutory compliances, taxation, and financial record verification. The candidate should have strong practical knowledge of GST, TDS, income tax, audits, and day-to-day accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct regular internal and financial audits and verify books of accounts.
- Handle and review GST compliance and filings, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, reconciliations, and related activities.
- Manage TDS calculations, deductions, returns, payments, and reconciliations.
- Handle Income Tax-related compliance, assessments, notices, and documentation.
- Verify invoices, purchase/sales records, expenses, ledgers, bank entries, and supporting documents.
- Perform GST and TDS reconciliations and identify discrepancies.
- Review accounts to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable regulations.
- Prepare audit schedules, reports, statements, and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate with CA, tax consultants, auditors, banks, and government departments when required.
- Assist with year-end closing,



finalisation of accounts, and statutory audit requirements.
- Monitor statutory deadlines and ensure timely completion of all compliance activities.
- Identify accounting errors, compliance gaps, and potential financial risks and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain proper records and documentation for audits and statutory requirements.

Required Skills & Knowledge

- Strong practical knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
- Positive understanding of audit procedures and accounting principles.
- Experience with GST/TDS portals and e-filing processes.
- Strong knowledge of reconciliation, ledger scrutiny, and financial verification.
- Proficiency in Tally/ERP and MS Excel.
- Ability to independently manage audit and compliance activities.
- Good analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Qualification

- B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / equivalent qualification.
- 3–6 years of relevant experience in audit, taxation, accounting, or finance.
- Candidates with experience handling complete audit and statutory compliance functions will be preferred.

Pay: ₹180,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
