Job Summary

Skyhoch Academy is looking for a motivated and student-focused Academic Counsellor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for understanding students' educational and career goals, providing suitable course guidance, and supporting them throughout the admission process.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel students and parents regarding available courses and career opportunities.
- Understand students' academic backgrounds, interests, and career goals.
- Provide accurate information about courses, eligibility, fees, batches, and admission procedures.
- Handle enquiries through phone calls, WhatsApp, walk-ins, and other communication channels.
- Follow up with prospective students and convert enquiries into admissions.
- Maintain regular follow-ups with leads and update lead information.
- Explain course benefits, learning pathways, and career opportunities clearly.
- Assist students with the admission and enrollment process.
- Coordinate with academic and administrative teams to ensure smooth student onboarding.
- Maintain accurate records of student enquiries, follow-ups, and admissions.
- Achieve assigned counselling and admission targets.
- Build positive relationships with students and parents.
- Participate in educational events, seminars,



and promotional activities when required.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong convincing and counselling skills.
- Good presentation and negotiation skills.
- Ability to understand student requirements and provide suitable guidance.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with CRM/lead management systems.
- Target-oriented and self-motivated.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Previous experience in academic counselling, education sales, or student admissions is an advantage.
- Freshers with excellent communication and interpersonal skills can also apply.
