Key Responsibilities

- Design, deploy, and manage Elasticsearch clusters (on-prem, cloud, or Elastic Cloud/ECK on Kubernetes)
- Build and maintain ingestion pipelines using Logstash, Beats, Elastic Agent, and ingest pipelines
- Design index mappings, templates, analyzers, and sharding/replication strategies
- Implement index lifecycle management (ILM), data tiers, snapshots, and backup/restore
- Tune query and indexing performance; troubleshoot cluster health, JVM, and memory issues
- Create Kibana dashboards, visualizations, alerts, and saved searches
- Implement security: RBAC, TLS, API keys, SSO/SAML/LDAP, audit logging
- Set up monitoring and alerting for cluster health and capacity planning
- Support observability and SIEM use cases (logs, metrics, APM, detection rules)
- Plan and execute upgrades, migrations, and reindexing with minimal downtime
- Document architecture and standards; mentor team members

Required Qualifications





- Elastic Certified Engineer certification (current)
- Hands-on experience with the Elastic Stack in production
- Solid knowledge of Elasticsearch internals: shards, segments, Lucene, relevance scoring
- Proficiency with Query DSL, aggregations, and ES|QL
- Experience with REST APIs and scripting (Python, Bash, or similar)
- Experience with Git .

Preferred Qualifications

- Elastic Certified Observability Engineer or Elastic Certified Analyst
- Experience with Elastic Security (SIEM), APM, or Fleet-managed agents
- Experience in Elastic Cloud
- Experience with vector search, semantic search, or hybrid search for AI/RAG use cases
- Knowledge of Kafka or other streaming platforms
- Experience with large-scale clusters (TB+ of data, high ingest rates)

Pay: ₹328,000.00 - ₹1,430,000.00 per year
