- Machine Setup & Operation: Start, adjust, and run automated cartoning machines according to standard operating procedures (SOPs). Load raw carton blanks, leaflets, and products into the machine feeders.
- Quality Control: Monitor the packaging line to make sure products, batch numbers, and expiration dates are printed and sealed correctly. Inspect output and clear out any defective or rejected packages.
- Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Perform basic daily maintenance like cleaning and lubrication. Fix minor jams, adjust machine speed parameters, and report major mechanical failures to maintenance teams.
- Safety & Compliance: Follow all factory safety rules, wear required protective gear, and keep the work area clean.
Record daily production counts and material usage.
Skills and Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent secondary education.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Ability to understand automated machinery, use basic hand tools, and perform minor adjustments.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long shifts, walk around the production floor, and lift packaging materials.
- Basic Math & Computer Skills: Capability to read measurements, count production lots, and log data into easy digital systems.
