We are looking for a creative and motivated Textile Design & Merchandiser Intern to join our team. This role offers an opportunity to gain practical experience in textile design, product development, merchandising, trend research, and export-oriented business.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in developing textile designs, prints, patterns, and surface embellishments.
- Research fashion, textile, color, and market trends to develop current design concepts.
- Assist with creating design presentations, mood boards, color palettes, and product concepts.
- Support the merchandising team in product development and sampling.
- Assist in preparing product sheets, presentations, catalogues, and client requirements.
- Coordinate with design, production, and merchandising teams to support product development.
- Research fabrics, techniques, trims, finishes, and other textile materials.
- Assist in maintaining sample and product records.
- Support the team in understanding buyer requirements and international market trends.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for recent collections.
- Assist with day-to-day merchandising and export-related activities.

Requirements





- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Textile Design, Design, Textile Merchandising, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of textiles, fabrics, prints, patterns, and garment/home-textile products.
- Creative mindset with an interest in textile design and product development.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Proactive approach to learning and willingness to take responsibility.
- Interest in trends, textiles, merchandising, and international markets.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
