Position: KG Mother Teacher

Department: Kindergarten / Early Years

Location: Chennai

Job Summary:

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and responsible KG Mother Teacher to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning workplace for young children. The teacher will support children’s academic, social, emotional, and physical development through age-appropriate activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and conduct engaging, age-appropriate classroom activities.

Teach foundational concepts such as phonics, numbers, vocabulary, shapes, colours, and general awareness.

Encourage children’s social, emotional, and communication skills.

Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment.

Develop positive relationships with children and parents.

Monitor and document students’ learning and developmental progress.

Handle daily routines such as attendance, meals, hygiene, and classroom transitions.

Organise activities including storytelling,



rhymes, art & craft, music, dance, and play-based learning.

Provide individual attention and support to children based on their needs.

Collaborate with other teachers and school staff.

Follow school policies, procedures, and child-safety guidelines.

Qualifications & Skills:

Graduate degree with NTT / Montessori / ECCE / D.El.Ed. or equivalent qualification preferred.

Previous experience working with KG/early-years children is preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Warm, patient, creative, and child-friendly approach.

Good classroom management skills.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
