CAD Trainer – Job Description

Job Title: CAD Trainer

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic CAD Trainer to provide practical training in Computer-Aided Design software. The trainer will teach students/employees CAD concepts, 2D drafting, 3D modeling, and industry-standard design practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct training sessions on AutoCAD and/or other CAD software.
- Teach 2D drafting, 3D modeling, assemblies, and engineering drawings.
- Prepare lesson plans, training materials, exercises, and projects.
- Provide hands-on demonstrations and practical assignments.
- Evaluate trainees through tests, assignments, and projects.
- Guide students in completing real-world CAD projects.
- Identify and support trainees who need additional assistance.
- Keep training content updated according to industry requirements.
- Maintain training records and provide feedback on trainee performance.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD / SolidWorks / CATIA / Creo / Revit/MEP or relevant CAD software.




- Good understanding of engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and drafting standards.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Strong practical knowledge of CAD design and modeling.
- Good problem-solving and interpersonal skills.

Qualification

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Civil, Architecture, or a related field.
- CAD certification or relevant industry experience is an advantage.

Preferred Experience

- Previous experience as a CAD Designer, CAD Engineer, or CAD Trainer.
- Freshers with strong CAD skills and good communication abilities may also be considered.

Salary

₹10000 to 25000 per month, based on skills and experience.
