Develop current food products and improve existing recipes, formulations, and processes.

- Prepare and maintain standardized recipes, formulation sheets, BOMs, product specifications, and process parameters.

- Conduct laboratory, pilot, and production trials and document trial results.

- Ensure consistency of taste, texture, colour, appearance, weight, yield, and overall product quality.

- Evaluate raw materials and packaging materials in coordination with Purchase, QA/QC, Stores, and suppliers.

- Conduct shelf-life studies, stability testing, sensory evaluation, and product performance assessments.

- Support compliance with FSSAI, GMP, HACCP, food safety, hygiene, labelling, and applicable regulatory requirements.

- Optimize production processes to improve yield, productivity, quality, and manufacturing efficiency.

- Identify opportunities to reduce ingredient cost and production wastage without compromising quality or food safety.





- Investigate product/process deviations and customer complaints and support root-cause analysis and CAPA.

- Prepare and update SOPs, work instructions, product specifications, trial reports, and technical documentation.

- Coordinate with Production, QA/QC, R&D;, Packaging, Purchase, Stores, and Sales teams for product and process issues.

- Support packaging development, pack-size trials, product protection, and shelf-life requirements.

- Monitor process parameters during trials and support successful transfer of validated products to routine production.

- Drive continuous improvement in recipes, processes, quality, yield, wastage, and product cost.
