Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Manager – Tax Compliance to manage end-to-end Indirect Tax (GST) compliance and other compliance. The role involves preparation, review, and timely filing of monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns while ensuring compliance with applicable statutory provisions. The position also requires effective communication with internal stakeholders and clients to understand data requirements and resolve GST-related issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage end-to-end GST compliance for the organization

· Prepare, review, and file monthly GST returns such as GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B

· Prepare and file annual GST returns GSTR-9 and GSTR-9C, as applicable

· Reconcile GSTR-2B with books of accounts and purchase records to ensure accurate ITC claims

· Analyze and resolve mismatches related to ITC, outward supplies, and tax payments

· Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to discuss requirements, collect accurate data, and clarify GST-related queries

· Understand business transactions and data requirements to ensure correct GST treatment





· Ensure compliance with amendments, notifications, and circulars issued under GST laws

· Maintain proper GST documentation, workings, and statutory records

· Assist during GST audits, assessments, and departmental proceedings

· Monitor GST notices, departmental queries, and assessments

Required Skills & Expertise

· Solid expertise in GST compliance and return filing

· Sound knowledge of GST laws, rules, and procedures

· Experience in handling monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns

· Proficiency in operating the GST portal

· Strong understanding of Input Tax Credit (ITC) reconciliation

· Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and internal teams

· Strong analytical skills with attention to detail

· Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet statutory deadlines

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance
- CA-Inter / MBA (Finance) / GST certification preferred
- Relevant experience in GST compliance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹1,400,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
