Sales Executive – Jockey

About the Role

We are looking for a Sales Executive to join the retail team at Jockey. The ideal candidate should be customer-focused, confident, well-groomed, and target-oriented, with a strong interest in fashion and apparel retail.

The Sales Executive will be responsible for delivering an excellent customer experience, understanding customer requirements, recommending suitable products, achieving sales targets, and supporting smooth day-to-day store operations.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome and assist customers with a professional and friendly approach.

Understand customer needs, preferences, and requirements to recommend suitable products.

Provide accurate information about product features, sizes, fits, fabrics, and collections.

Achieve individual and store-level sales targets consistently.

Drive sales through effective upselling and cross-selling.

Maintain strong product knowledge across Jockey's apparel and innerwear categories.

Build positive customer relationships and encourage repeat purchases.

Ensure proper product display, replenishment, tagging, and store presentation.

Maintain visual merchandising and brand standards within the store.

Handle customer queries, feedback, exchanges, and concerns professionally.

Support billing and POS operations when required.

Assist with stock management, inventory checks,



and product movement.

Coordinate with the Store Manager and team to ensure smooth daily operations.

Maintain store cleanliness, discipline, and grooming standards.

Follow company policies, SOPs, sales processes, and customer service standards.

Candidate Profile

0–3 years of experience in retail sales, apparel, fashion, showroom sales, or customer service.

Experience in fashion, lifestyle, innerwear, or apparel retail will be an advantage.

Minimum 12th pass; graduates will be preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong customer-handling and selling abilities.

Confident, presentable, and well-groomed personality.

Target-oriented with a proactive approach to sales.

Positive understanding of upselling and cross-selling techniques.

Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently.

Comfortable working in retail shifts, including weekends and holidays.
