Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate and experienced PGT Geography to join our academic team. The candidate should have strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create an engaging and effective learning environment for senior secondary students.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Geography to Classes XI and XII as per the CBSE curriculum.
- Prepare and deliver well-structured, engaging and interactive lessons.
- Plan and conduct classroom activities, assignments, projects and assessments.
- Regularly evaluate students' academic progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Prepare question papers, worksheets, lesson plans and other academic materials.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments and student performance.
- Help students develop analytical, geographical and map-reading skills.
- Provide academic support and guidance to students when required.
- Participate in examinations, school activities, meetings,
workshops and other assigned duties.
- Maintain classroom discipline and promote a positive learning environment.
- Stay updated with CBSE guidelines, curriculum changes and effective teaching methodologies.
Eligibility & Qualifications
- Master's degree in Geography from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. from a recognized institution.
- Solid knowledge of the CBSE Senior Secondary Geography curriculum.
- Prior teaching experience at the PGT/Senior Secondary level will be preferred.
- Good communication and classroom-management skills.
- Proficiency in using digital teaching tools and educational technology will be an advantage.
