Job description

Role Overview:

The Production In-Charge will be responsible for managing day-to-day production operations for EV battery systems, ensuring production targets, quality standards, safety requirements, and delivery schedules are achieved efficiently.

Responsibility:

- Plan and execute daily production activities as per the production plan.
- Supervise battery pack/module assembly and manufacturing operations.
- Manage manpower, machines, materials, and production processes.
- Ensure adherence to SOPs, work instructions, quality, and safety standards.
- Monitor production output, rejection, downtime, and productivity.
- Coordinate with Quality, PPC, Maintenance, Stores, and Engineering teams.
- Identify and resolve production and shop-floor issues.




- Drive 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Train and guide operators for safe and efficient production.
- Maintain daily production reports and relevant documentation.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Production, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- 4–6 years of experience in production/manufacturing operations.
- Experience in EV, Li-ion battery, automotive, electronics, or energy storage manufacturing preferred.
- Hands-on experience in battery pack/module assembly, shop-floor management, manpower handling, and production planning will be an added advantage.
- Experience in 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, quality improvement, and root-cause analysis preferred.

Pay and Advantages:

Competitive pay as per market standard, will be evaluated based on profile and skills.

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
